About Chapter Tool
Brian Platz, the owner of "The Web Doctor" was a member of Letip of Salem (Oregon) for 15 years and held the Tip Master Position for a number of years. The Web Doctor specializes in developing online, database-driven web applications. Being well aware of tasks involved in collecting, sorting and making sense of a large chapter's tips, in 2004, Brian developed a Microsoft Access Database that allowed for easy entry and management of the chapter's tips. The word got around and numerous requests, from other Letip Chapters, were very interested in a copy of the database. In the later part of 2009 and with the input from other chapters, Brian decided to develop Chapter Tool. Chapter Tool is an excellent resource for ANY and ALL Networking Groups, not just Letip Chapters. Chapter Tool tracks a chapter's Tips, Attendance, Guests and Program Manager duties, such as assigning Greeters, Showboaters and Speakers for weekly meetings.
